FAQ Information about Connections Prep

  1. How do I reach Kae Davis? The best way to reach our organization is always by email. As we work in a very specific niche market, there are many hours when we are in stages of production that we keep our phone ringers turned off while we are writing or working. However, we are online all the time — with 18 to 24 hour shift days 7 days a week being the norm rather than the exception.   2. How am I billed for services by Connections Prep? We prefer to work through PayPal as our online billing method. However, cash or direct deposit electronic payments are also welcome. Once we have made an agreement to represent your account or project, we’ll send you more information about payment options — including and discount billing special promotions we have going.
  3. How do I reserve future appointment times for writing projects and other online services? Pre-payment of services is expected to clear our bank or Paypal account 45 days in advance of any online project commencement as a retainer for appointment block, subject to 50% cancellation fee if contract is canceled with less than 14 days notice (in writing).
  4. How do I retain Connections Prep to help my company manage and oversee my social networking sites on a daily and weekly basis? We are happy to discuss installment agreements for contracts that exceed 6 months in duration; we run our project calenders from the first to the last day of each month. As such, for our marketing services to commence on January 1 of any year, as non-retractable intellectual property payment in full to hold our appointment times and writing dates open would be expected no later than November 15 of the prior year.
  5. How are service prices determined for various tasks? We negotiate our cost of services based on: skill required, hours involved per day / week / month / year, participation of company owners and staff, and how much we like you (we’re not gonna lie… we love working with nice people and money is not everything).
  6. How much advance notice do you need to take on a new project? Our service packages for small businesses and charity organizations are very competitive price wise — so we tend to book projects 6 months or more in advance, so we recommend you reach out to us early. We do charge extra for rush jobs, but we also will help our someone in a bind for a reasonable fee if we see that we have a few hours open for an appointment here and there in the coming weeks.
  7. Are bulk hours discount packages available? YES — We actually recommend clients hire us by the week or month at a flat rate rather than billing cumulative hours daily. Web projects are time consuming, so the more we can help you stay within budget constraints, the more we know you will be able to relax and enjoy working with us. Bulk hours packages allow us to stop watching the clock and to treat your project as more of a salaried position.
  8. Can I hire someone from your company on staff as a part time or full time salaried employee? If hiring one of our staff makes your bookwork easier on you and us, we recommend you create a position for our staff ABSOLUTELY. However, most companies prefer to hire us and independent contractors and to deduct the expense of paying for our services from their business as a tax deductible marketing expense.
  9. Will I receive a discount on my bill if I pay in advance quarterly, semi-annually, or yearly? YES — email to inquire about our discount service packages for our long term clients and service patrons.
  10. Are IT Marketing and Event Planning service discounts available for charity benefits and non-profit organizations? YES — email to inquire about our discount service packages for charitable causes.
  11. Can I hire someone from Connections Prep for a day, week, month or year? YES — we have staff available for all of the above, Just let us know your needs and we’ll let you know who we have available to assist you.
  12. Do you have staff available for short term projects, single articles, press release drafting or submission, or to help me host an event locally? We do — and our staff is happy to connect with you.
